Sold Out (Use Waitlist)

The tallest of our native deciduous ferns, this statuesque species reaches 3-5 ft. in the growing season, then "rests" unseen all winter.

Its bright green fronds emerge from a shared base, rising upward more than outward and featuring delicate diamond-shaped leaves. Best in deep to partial shade and humus- or compost-rich soils that retain moisture well.

Pair it with native and water-wise perennials & grasses, as well as native shrubs such as Low Oregon-grape and Osoberry.
