A super evergreen selection, ‘Delta Dawn’ Coral Bells feature large, brick-red foliage edged in chartreuse green, which flips to bright green with red veins in the summer, eventually landing on lime green in the fall.

These perennials grow 8-12 in. high by 12 in. wide, in mounds. The small, bell-shaped white flowers rise up on 18 in. stems above the foliage. Heucheras work well in containers, as ground cover in woodland gardens, in borders, rock gardens and along paths. They prefer part shade, shade, or filtered sun and well-drained moist soil, but will be drought-tolerant once established.

Deadheading will prolong the bloom time for the butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds they attract. As a bonus the colorful leaves remain evergreen, and they are somewhat deer resistant.
