McLane Creek Trail Maintenance

Join WSU/Native Plant Salvage and Stream Team to keep the McLane Creek Nature Trail accessible and enjoyable for everyone! On Friday, May 13, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, we will spend a few hours mindfully trimming back growth along the trail while enjoying the spring birds and plants at this local nature trail!

WSU/Native Plant Salvage and Stream Team committed to volunteer during the growing season so we could maintain accessibility to the trails while preventing the excessive vegetation removal of traditional trail crews. The results have been a flourishing of native perennials along the trail that had previously been destroyed.

Register by filling out this form — volunteers must sign a waiver, show proof of Covid vaccination, and bring a Discover pass if parking at the Nature Trail.
