Dryopteris erythrosora (Autumn Fern)
This evergreen fern has striking orange-red new growth that turns copper-pink then a rich green by mid-summer. By fall, red spores form on the undersides of the fronds, adding more visual interest. Grows 1.5-2.5 ft H and W in shade or part-shade in normal to moist soils, but will tolerate light sun or dry shade if given adequate moisture when young. Deer and rabbit resistant.
