Tellima grandiflora (Fringecup)
One of our prized native Saxifrage-family perennials, Fringecup features tall stalks of lightly fragrant, graceful cup-shaped white flowers with fringy/frilly edges. As they mature, the cups turn pink/purple.
Lovely, rounded to heart-shaped leaves mostly form colonies on the ground. Thrives in a woodland or shady-garden setting with other native shade-loving perennials and ferns.
This Saxifrage takes a little more sun than many others - ok in dappled light or early-morning sun, but will perform best in a bit of shade. Drought tolerant once established.
