Coreopsis x 'Super Star' (Super Star Coreopsis) 1 gal

$12.00
Sold Out (Use Waitlist)

A bright and cheerful tickseed whose name, ‘Super Star,’ refers to its standout bountiful and extra-large blooms from summer through fall, as well as how many butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds it attracts!

The huge (up to 3-inch) bicolor flowers are lemon-yellow with a ring of deep red, surrounding a fuzzy golden center. This tickseed will spread slowly but surely to ultimately create a 16+ inch cluster of 12-16 inch tall blooms.

Like most coreopsis, it thrives in full sun, most soils with decent drainage, is drought tolerant once established, deer resistant, and very easy-care. This is nicely partnered with other sun-loving perennials such as Salvia, Caryopteris, Perovskia, Gaura, Achillea, Gaillardia, Echinacea, and many more!
