from $10.00
Sold Out (Use Waitlist)

Also known as Dull, Cascade, or Long-leaved Oregon-grape, this is the species you want for your areas that in partial to full shade. This hard-to-find/buy evergreen native shrub offers matte evergreen foliage, sweet-smelling bright yellow flowers and blue fruits loved by birds and pollinators, and the capacity to grow in a variety of soil types and moisture conditions.

It has longer compound leaves than its sun-loving counterpart, the Tall Oregon-grape, and tends to grow only 2-3 ft. tall. Winter foliage is a stunning burgundy red! A super plant for many pollinators and beneficial insects.

Read about why we love our 4 Mahonia offerings on our blog!

Note: “Restoration Grade,” when available, are healthy plants not thriving in pots/nursery conditions, and therefore they may look initially less robust or be a little leggy. Once planted and upon establishment, they will begin to fill out the space as they do in our native woodlands.
